∙ 14y agoIt has often been said that the history of wars are written by the winners of those wars. Since Canada won the War of 1812, the history of it was written by and for Canadians. It has also often been said that the losers of wars tend to forget about those wars. Since the US lost the War of 1812, there has been a strong tendency to ignore it.
This isn't a quote, it's just a word. Billions of people have said "history" over the course of their lives!
It wasn't said exactly that way, but the most famous quote with that meaning is by George Santayana who said, "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it" Karl Marx said, "History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce."

It has often been said that Canada's history is all about geography.
Albert Einstein was for sure one of the greatest minds in the all of history. That being said, he obviously had a lot to say and therefore there are many quotes by him.
