As with most owls, the mother stays and keeps the young warm, whilst keeping predators at bay. The father owl hunts continuously to keep his family fed, often lining the nest edge with prey that is at that time surplus to requirements. Once the young snowy owls are too demanding for the male snowy owl, and large enough to leave, the female snowy owl joins in the hunt and supply of fresh prey. Eventually, the young snowy owls are encouraged to chase their own prey, initially caught but not killed by the parent snowy owls.

I believe that all owls are endangered. There arent very many owls left in the world now. So I do believe that all owls are endanged no just the gray owl.
Snowy Owls winter south through Canada and northernmost Eurasia, with irruptions occurring further south in some years. They have been reported as far south as Texas, Georgia, the American Gulf states, southern Russia, northern China and even the Caribbean. Between 1967 and 1975, Snowy Owls bred on the remote island of Fetlar in the Shetland Isles north of Scotland, UK. Females summered as recently as 1993, but their status in the British Isles is now that of a rare winter visitor to Shetland, the Outer Hebrides and the Cairngorms. In January 2009, a Snowy Owl appeared in Spring Hill, Tennessee, the first reported sighting in the state since 1987.

yes she alive now
yes! Specially if Owl attack them in pure darkness. Owls are very violent birds. Eagles can get very hurt in a confrontation with Owls. Owls attack vultures and night grabbing them by the neck and suffocating them. Now look at the size of a vulture comparing to eagle. There is a video on youtube when Owls attack you will see how she attacked the vulture at night. Eagles can struggle to come out alive. In day time both birds avoid each other.
