How many students in a high school?

I'd say 24. This year...

- My spanish 4 class has 19

- English has 25

- Math has 26

- World history has 26

The average of all those is 24, but last semester I had an average of 26 in all. I go the the most overcrowded and largest high school in the country.

At my rather large public suburban high school (~2,200 students), the class size ceiling is placed at 35 (and 30 for classrooms with a limited number of a requirement, ie. sewing machines for home ec; more for PE classes).

Many class sizes reach the limit, though select unpopular classes (whether it is because they have prerequisites, are special surviving electives that fewer people are interested in, or are just unpopular) exist that contain between 9 and 15 people.

As a warning, this is original research and is, er, only for one particular high school, not every high school in our city (there are a few private and charter schools which will have dramatically skewed numbers).

At my school, the amount of students per class depends on what it is.

- In my regular academic courses, there are about 20-25 students per class.

- PE classes tend to be larger, at about 30 students.

- I am a "special" student, as one might say, as I am in several gifted classes. My gifted classes are about 30 students as well.

** Note: I go to a public high school of about 1200 students. It is located in a medium-sized, suburban city.

Free Safety: 5'10-6'2 170-185 Lbs

Strong Safety: 5'10-6'3 190-210 Lbs

Strong Safeties need to be a little bit bigger because they're closer to the line of scrimmage. And will be taking on blocks from pulling guards and tackles.

I played Strong Safety in 2011 and went 1st team all conference. I'm 6'2 185 Lbs
