This logic is based on the butter being in liquid (melted) form.
1 pound of butter contains 4 sticks with a total weight of 16 oz.
If 1 pound contains 4 quarters (4 sticks).
Then 16 oz. divided by 4 equals 4 oz. per quarter (or per stick of butter).
If 1 oz. = 2 tablespoons
And 1 stick has 4 oz.
Then 4 oz. X 2 tablespoons per oz.
EQUALS 8 tablespoons per stick
This logic is not correct. Two different kinds of ounces involved. Weight and volume. Unfortunately an ounce is not an ounce. Imagine your two tablespoons are full of butter. Then take two full of melted gold. One is much heavier than the other.
There are eight tablespoons in a stick of butter.
A 'stick' is 4 oz. There are 2 tbsp in an oz, so there are 8 in a 'stick'
Approximately 8 tablespoons in 1 stick.
8
No. 8 Tbs is equal to 1 stick of butter.
Two full sticks of butter(16 tbs ) = 1 cup
1 stick of butter equals 8 Tbs. or 24 tsp.; 8 tbs. equals 1/2 cup; 5 1/3 Tbs. equals 1/3 cup; 4 sticks of butter equal 1 pound or 2 cups.
32 tbs ( x multiply) by 34 pounds = 1,088 tbs
1.5 tbs
There are approximately 100-102 calories in 1 tablespoon of butter.
Butter is VERY easy to make. Put some cream in a jar, put the lid on tight, and shake it for several minutes. You'll notice a solid blob floating in the liquid eventually--that's butter. To use on bread, add a little salt.
That is 12 tablespoons
A cup it 8 ounces. A stick of butter is 4 ounces, or half a cup. Two thirds of a cup would be roughly 5.3 ounces, so you would need approximately one and a third sticks of butter to equal 2/3rds of a cup.
10 Tbs butter equals to 150g/5 oz...
That is 30 tbs.
I believe it's 8 ounces by weight.
