A person may be baptized many times if they change their religion and one of the conditions is baptism. One becomes baptised signifying that they accept the teachings of Christ and are willing to become members of a particular religious body. Some religions also give the child their name.

Baptism means to be "covered or surrounded by." The act of baptism is a demonstration of a spiritual happening. There are apostolic churches that have repeated baptisms at revivals. The word Baptist comes from Anabaptist meaning that after being baptized and dedicated as a child a person is baptized again during their personal commitment and profession of faith.

If you are being sincere, you will typically only do this once. Twice if you have a genuine change of heart and the new faith requires it. Many Christian faiths give credence to the other Christian faith baptizings, though.

If you are not being sincere, you can have your child baptized as many times as there are churches. While some churches have unusually strict standards, others will baptize anyone who strolls by. And there are enough of those kind to let you baptize the child once a week in some big cities.

Once. For Catholics they are confirmed later and baptised at birth. For Protestants they are baptised later in life, not confirmed, and once you "devot your life to God" you are devoted forever and you never have to go through another baptism.

Only once. Since it is a one time sacrement, the church only allows you to get baptized once, unless your original baptism is deemed invalid.

Generally only once. Some Baptist churches, though, if you are not baptized by their ordained ministers, will require you to be re-baptized.
