three times
The main times Jesus prayed were in the lords prayer, and in the garden of Gethsemane.
He did this on a daily basis, more times than can be counted.
never he was a very kind and loving man
Jesus took Peter, James, and John with him to watch and pray with him. Three times Jesus prayed that, if it be possible, the cup of suffering might be taken from him. While Jesus prayed for this possibility, he affirmed that if it wasn't possible, he wanted to do the Father's will.
According to the Bible, after the miracle of the Loaves and Fishes, Jesus withdrew to pray on the mountain alone. This is recorded in Matthew 14:23. John 6:15 mentions the crowd wanting to make Jesus king, but it does not explicitly state that Jesus went up the mountain to escape the multitude.
Jesus prayed to God many times throughout his life on Earth. He prayed very often, as we should do, for God was His father.
Yes Jesus did pray many times, in the garden of Gethsemane , before feeding the five thousands.(Two examples are found at: Matthew 26:39+42 and John 17:1-26)
Jesus went to the mountain to pray as the scripture says:And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.(Mark 6.46)Four of these times are recorded in the Gospels.Answer:He would go to a mountain to escape the crowds of people that followed Him; both for solitude and prayer... and so that He could be alone with His disciples. They would follow Him up... but there was no room to support the multitudes."And seeing the multitudes, He went up into a mountain: and when He was set, His disciples came unto Him: and He opened His mouth, and taught them..." (Matt.5:1-2).And sometimes, when no mountain was near, He just sent the people away and took His disciples into His house: "Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and His disciples came unto Him..." (Matt.13:36).
no where, its to pray in the name of Jesus
There are probably many places where Jesus prayed during His ministry, including Golgotha, the place of His death. O more than one occasion He is recorded as having gone alone up a mountain to pray, although the particular peak is not specified. When He taught the disciples to pray, in what is called the Lord's prayer, the location is not specified.
Many times although but only a few were actually written down. Jesus prayed every morning and every night. He also prayed often during the day. Jesus was in constant contact with his Heavenly Father, just like we should be today.
