Too many times to count, most likely. But some of the most memorable times included when he was following Gollum in the goblin-caves, when he taunted the Spiders of Mirkwood, when he snuck around the castle of the Wood-Elves, and when he conversed with Smaug in the Lonely Mountain.
A good many! Never thought of it, When the witch king stabs him, when the cave troll sticks him, when Aragorn and him are on the stairs, when gollum tries to strangle him, when he almost drowns in the passage of the marshes, when that man falls almost ontop of him off of the oliphaunt, when he is captured by Faramir (they should have killed him the second they found out he had the ring), oh and before that when he goes to help Sam out of the stones and 2 of the Haradrim go to inspect, on the stairs to Cirith Ungol when Gollum tries to take the ring only if sam wasn't there, then when Frodo is in Shelobs lair and is almost killed, then at the end of the tunnel when |Gollum attacks him for survivng, then when Shelob gets Frodo with her stinger, then when the orcs pick frodo up, then when Shagrat (I think) tries to knife Frodo, then when they are caught up in the march of orcs, then when Gollum bites his finger and they both fall, then when Frodo has to jump on a rock surrounded by molten lava. Im pretty sure that's a total cout of (if i counted correctly) 17 times!
Oh, well over fifty times, I suppose. You can't honestly expect someone to literally count the times it is said, though.

Well, "The Lord of the Rings" is Sauron, the maker of the rings, or the One Ring and the bearer of that ring. Being that the Rings corrupt with ultimate power all who bear them, they win.
