It all depends on the horse and the time you have,also if the horse lives in or out. Anything from twice a day to four times a day.A horse needs a certain amount of feed a day and you split it into the number of feeds you give.Hay is the same but a stabled horse needs to eat all day and night to keep the gut healthy so you need to give plenty.

Instead of horses chewing like humans, they chew sideways. If you do not take care of their teeth, their teeth can get too sharp. imagine if you had a sharp tooth always poking at your mouth! take care of horses teeth!

They chew with their molers. They can't chew their food if their teeth are pointy. So alwways make sure that they have there teeth floated!
