How many times does the Bible tell us to Fear Not?
According to the movie "Facing the Giants" it is somewhere close to 365 times, though it appears to appear just over 100 in reality. Tried using bible gateway to lookup in NAB version.

"Do not fear"

1 Samuel 12:20
2 Samuel 9:7
2 Samuel 13:28
1 Kings 17:13
2 Kings 6:16
2 Kings 17:35 (You shall not fear other gods, nor bow...)
2 Kings 17:37
2 Kings 17:38
1 Chronicles 22:13

Nehemiah 4:14 (Do not be afraid...)

Psalm 78:53 (He led them to safety so they did not fear)

John 14:27 (Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful)
1 Peter 3:14 (Do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled,
John 14:1 (Do not let your heart be troubled...)
It also says:
Mark 4:40 "...Why are ye fearful? Have ye no faith?"
Matthew 8:26 "...Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?..."
Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and ... (ext.)... shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
The Bible says that we should not fear many times without using the words "do not be afraid" or do not fear. This makes the number a lot closer to the 365. Although what the exact number is, I do not know.
Note: counting the number of instances listed above using a text editor, by seeing how many lines there are, and then subtracting the blank or header lines, there are 116.
It is important to keep in mind that some of the references refer to fear as we normally think of fear and some refer to fearing God.
365 times :D that's alot
the kjv bible says to feer not 365 times
There are about 103 places in the Bible where the phrase "Fear not" is used. The number of those places changes with different translations.

In the King James version, the word yet is used 686 times in 657 verses. I didn't count them, I have a Bible on my computer that, if you do a search for a word, will tell you how many times that word is found in the Bible.
78 times in the gospels the words of Jesus "I tell You the Truth" are recorded. I did not count to see how many of these times are retellings by the different authors of the same teaching.
because God is by your side all the time
No where in the Bible is this recorded, so people who talk of this, get their authority somewhere other than the Bible

You can find the answer to that by using a Concordance, whether online or the regular book format. It'll tell you how many times, where and when money was referred to throughout the Bible.
A lot of times. I can not tell you how much exactly but probably more than 100!
Because to LORD said to many, many times in his word, the Bible. If we don't, not only will relationships be lost, but God will judge us.
It is hard to tell because there are so many different translations out there. There are no occurrences of the word "idiot" in the KJV, NKJV, Standard or NIV.
There are no bible references to the saying "Not to worry". There are 212 to the word afraid, 8 to the word perplexed. 246 for the word concerned and other numbers relating to the word worry.
Personally, I tell the truth because you need to have a good memory to be able to remember the different lies told to different other people at different times and my memory isn't 100%. However, that is not what the questioner asked. The reason is usually human nature and/or fear. However, this category ["Bible"] is the wrong category.
The Bible has so many different sections because it is a lot of stories and they all have different meanings and lessons to tell. It is also because all sorts of things happened at different times.
430 in the New King James, please don't make me tell them all. (I'm being serious about 430.)
It will be hard to tell.
The bible does not tell us how long the "Times of the Gentiles" will last, but many persons believe the time is soon coming when it will be over. The Gentile rule will last until the Second Coming of Christ has arrived.
I do not know who invented this word, but I can tell you that it is not in the KJV Bible. Neither is 'reunite' in the Bible; though the word 'unite' appears six times, and 'union' appears three times.
the bible did not tell how many but it is sure they are.
Over 167 times. Some refferences are : Hosea 13:14 Job 5:26 Jeremiah 20:17 Ezekial 32:23 Psalm 49:14 The Bible speaks many times of the grave since God wants to tell us that He does not want us to go there (Hell) but to Heaven after we die. II Peter 3:9 "not willing that any should perish"
The real question is how many times will you get to tell a woman what to do before she kicks you to the curb.
From Matthew 18:21-22: Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. So we should forgive 490 times. On the other hand, maybe this is meant figuratively, as "many, many times".
I can't tell you how many time the individual word God appears in the Bible. However, I can tell you that there are 4,117 verses where the word God appears at least once (and sometimes twice) in each verse if that helps. Based on the King James Version.
I can't give you an answer to this question, but I can tell you how to find the answer! :) I would suggest you borrow an exhaustive concordance from the library (or google for an online one) and look up "law". It should give you a listing of every time the word is used in the Bible, and you can count them up!
Let me tell you this, in the Bible, there are more than a billion miracles that happened. Everything the Lord Jesus Christ does is a miracle.
bullies fear when you laugh with them then you tell the teacher
An exponent is a numeral used to tell how many times a number is used as a factor.
It's impossible to tell, there are so many version in so many languages.
As many times as you like into a number that is sufficiently large.
In the King James version, the reverse is stated, implying the meaning asked of. Pro 21:23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
i can't tell you how many times they came but i can tell you that the pirates lost 100% of the games.
It's not about how many times you tell them, it's about showing them that you love them. If you mean it, and show that you mean it, then they'll believe you.

When the friend is with you in happiness and in time when you are sad........ in times you need some one's help............. and the one to which you can tell everything freely........ and there is no fear that she will revel your secrets
Jesus told us, individually and collectively, 27 times in the gospels to follow him. But I reckon the best saying on this is - Luke 9.23. And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Many stories in the Bible talk about father-child relationships, such as Noah and his three sons, the prodigal son, and of course, MANY verses tell us of our father in heaven-God.
can you tell me about recovery from the bible
the bible does not tell about evolution?
Without counting, I can tell you a lot. Everytime you see "XX the annointed" (Kings, Rabbis, Priests were all called "Messiah") the word used was the same as "Messiah" (Especially in the Old Testament). However, the translators changed it because they believe people are too stupid to know the difference. New question: How many times does the word "Messiah"/"The annointed"/"Rubbed" appear in the Bible? (They are all the same word.)
Among many other things, the Psalms tell us that God hears us, and gives recompense according to our deeds.
It is not possible to know. The Bible does not tell us. We do know that everyone who believes in Jesus as their Savior has been annointed by the Holy Spirit.
o the bible does not tell you when eve because it was very long ago!
The main theme of the Bible is redemption, redemption of mankind. The main story of Ruth is redemption, redemption of a woman and a family. The Bible doesn't tell about many of the character's death and even fewer deaths of women. Because the theme of Ruth is redemption, the telling of a death would be out of theme.
you can never tell how many times you yawn because we all yawn at different rates
The bible dors not tell her age.
The bible does not tell us how she looked.
"Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia" is a fear of the number 666, and is Biblical in its origins. There are questions as to weather hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia should actually be classified as a phobia because it is not an object or situation. It is believed that this fear is more common than one would initially expect (it is similar to the fear of the number 13) but there is no way to tell you how many people suffer from it.
