Another notable back-to-back situation was in the first inning of Game 1 of the 1966 World Series, when both Frank Robinson and Brooks Robinson of the Baltimore Orioles hit consecutive home runs off Don Drysdale of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The blasts gave the Orioles an early 3-0 lead and they went on to sweep the Series.
