How many times is education mentioned in the Bible?

I can just find one instance where the actual word 'educated' is used and that would be in Act 13:1. Education in a secular way is not something prominent in the scriptures but the education in a spiritual way is. Timothy was encourage to continue in the teachings he receive from his mother and his grandmother. Parents in Deuteronomy 6:1-9 were instructed to teach their children about God and his commandments. When you think about the education that is prevelent today we know that is foolishness compared to the knowledge of God (1 Corinthians 3:19). Many may think that the most important thing is life is to get an education but the reality is that the most important thing is to follow the direction of God.
