Colorado is home to many trees and flowers--some of the native trees are well known evergreens--The Douglas Fir, White fir, Ponderosa Pine, bristle-cone pine, of course the Colorado Spruce, and junipers for example. There are also many Maple and Cottonwood trees. As far as wildflowers, there are far too many to name. Usually at the end of September or early october.
