I might be wrong but:

I know that beryllium has two electrons total and the first ring can only fit two electrons so the number of valance electrons is most likely two. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

How can the number of valence electrons be determined from the periodic table?

By looking at the group number you can tell how many valance electrons there are ex: Group 1= 1 valance electrons Group 2-12= 2 valance electrons Group 13= 3 valance electrons Group 14= 4 valance electrons Group 15= 5 valance electrons Group 16= 6 valance electrons Group 17= 7 valance electrons Group 18= 8 valance electrons

2 valance electrons

There are 27 valance electrons.

How many electrons does beryllium have in all?

A neutral atom of beryllium has 4 electrons. In a neutral atom, the numbers of electrons and protons are equal. An element's atomic number is the number of protons.

How many valence electrons does a beryllium?

Beryllium has two valence electrons.

How many electrons are in the outer level of beryllium?

In an electrically neutral atom, the number of electrons is the same as the number of protons. Since the number of protons is the atomic number of an atom, and Beryllium has an atomic number of 4, this means that Beryllium has 4 protons in its nucleus. As mentioned previously, if the atom is electrically neutral, then Beryllium will also has 4 electrons.

What is the number of protons and electrons of berrylium?

The atomic number of beryllium is 4. The atomic number of an atom says how many protons are in that atom. In an unionized atom, the protons and electrons are the same amount. Beryllium (unionized) has 4 electrons and 4 protons.

How many elactrons does beryllium have?

Beryllium has 4 electrons.

How many valance electrons are in Be?

It is a Group 2 element, therefore it has two outer-shell electrons. To gain a full outer-shell, it loses two electrons to form a cation (cations are positive ions)
