You can check it yourself: look at the specification plate that is attached to your device (it is required by law), and you'll find the information for volts (for example 120v which is the US and Canadian standard) then you'll see the amperage listed usually something like 10 amps for a high demand item like a hair dryer. You simply multiply the Volts times Amps to get the power rating, Watts. So for these numbers as an example it would be 120 X 10 or 1200 Watts. If you're thinking of buying one of those converts for overseas travel, be advised that most of the converters for sale will not handle high demand appliances like hair dryers or cloths irons because they require a very heavy unit to work. Typically these converts are good for computers, battery chargers, etc but NOT for irons. Read the specs carefully and the converter should be able to handle 1500 Watts or more for use with an iron. Otherwise you are wasting your money and it's cheaper to just buy a European rated hair dryer or iron for the trip.
Usually about 1200 to 1500 watts.
no
use a curling iron!!
what do you mean why was a curling iron invented? it was invented cuz we ned it in our lives and most people use it a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
use a curling iron.
Use a thin curling iron. Don't roll the curling iron up. Twist the hair around the curler.
It takes 13 amps Varies - but around 10 is a good average.
Yes, you can in fact use your straightener as a curling iron. Turn it on and take a single strand like you are going to straighten it, use it in a twisting motion from 6 inches from the roots to the tips. And it should be a tight curl.
Use a curling iron and flip your hair out with it.
you dont have to but it is best to as it protects you hair from getting damaged :)
Mostly a physical change. There's really no chemicals from a curling iron its self. Some people use special shampoos to curl their hair. I suggest using the curling iron if you want the curls to last a short time. The chemicals stay in for about a week, so if you want them daily, use the chemicals. But if your head is sensitive, then don't use it for too long.
Use a curling iron. Using a larger barreled curling iron will make large curls. Remember: the larger the barrel size, the larger the curl.
