In U.S. voltage is usually referred to as 120 nowadays. so if in U.S. substitute 120 where 115 appears below.

Power = Amperage times voltage

So, in your example, 8.5 times 115 = Watts

OK, you can ignore the h at the end. So you're left with 8 100 Watts.

Watts are calculated by volts x amps, so Watts / volts will give you amps.

8100 / 115 = 70.4 amps

What size motor does the 81 skidoo blizzard 7500 have?

Its only has the type 354 liquid cooled engine (340) but if it was the 9500 it has the type 454 (440). They both have a lot of power for what they were back in the day.

What is indirect method of FM transmitter?

indirect FM transmitter is the transmitter which indirected connectly to the FMINDIRECT FM GENERATIONWhile it is not possible to vary the frequency of a crystal oscillator directly, it is possible to vary its phase. The resulting PM signal can be used to create FM. This is the basis of the Armstrong modulator. The mathematics required to analyze the Armstrong modulator completely are complex, so we will discuss only the basic circuit operation. An audio signal is passed through a preemphasis network and then an integrator, a special network whose output is the time integral of the input signal. The preemphasized integrated signal is used to phase modulate a crystal oscillator. Mathematically, it can be shown that PM using the integral of the audio signal is identical to FM using the audio signal itself. In this way an FM signal is generated. The Armstrong modulator cannot produce much deviation, so combination of multipliers and mixers are used to raise the carrier frequency and the deviation. The multipliers are used to multiply the carrier and the deviation. The mixers are used to decrease the carrier, while keeping the deviation constant so that additional multiplier stages can be used to obtain more deviation. It is worth going through an example:An FM station is authorized to operate at 90.9 MHz, with maximum deviation of 75 KHz. The FM signal is generated with an Armstrong modulator whose output is 500 KHz with a deviation of 15.432 Hz. The modulator output is applied to 3 triplers and a doubler to obtain a frequency of 81 MHz and a deviation of 2.5 KHz. The 81 MHz signal is mixed with a 77.97 MHz signal to produce a 3.03 MHz signal whose deviation is still 2.5 KHz. This signal is fed through a doubler, tripler and quintupler to multiply the carrier to 90.9 MHz and the deviation to 75 KHz.

How much electricity do humans absorb?

According to the Center for Space Power and Advanced Electronics, a NASA commercial center in Alabama, the human body is on average 15% fat, capable of producing 11,000 watt hours. When the average Joe eats his daily bread, he takes in 3,300 watt hours. The charge rate is about 7kW if the waiter starts pushing you out the door after a half hour lunch, according to the Center. "Clearly the amount of energy consumed by an individual is sufficient to provide power for electronic devices if a suitable method can be found to convert a small fraction of that energy to electricity," the Center concludes in a report on the subject. Broken into usable terms, waiting to be harvested are 81 watts from a sleeping person, 128 from a soldier standing at ease, 163 from a walking person, 407 from a briskly walking person, 1,048 from a long-distance runner, and 1,630 from a sprinter, according to the center.

How can a neutral wire have 81 amp load?

If that's the case, there must be a "Hot" leg that's carrying 81 amps. The neutral is just the return for a circuit, it's the center tap of the transformer, and for there to be 81 amps on the neutral, there must be a load SOMEWHERE ELSE. It could be that the wire is acting as a neutral for multiple circuits, you'd have to figure out what's going on.

12 HP Century Electric MotorModel CSH-81-B. Serial ac Code L RPM 1750Spec-9568 it is one half hp not 12.?

A 1 hp electric motor draws ABOUT 746 watts. Multiply volts times amps to get watts. a 1/2 hp motor will use about 3.1 amps @ 120 volts. A 12 hp motor is a VERY large motor, and will draw 8900-9000 watts of power (and use 220-440 volt power)

How long will a 12volt 7ah battery last with a 24 watt bulb?

-- The power being used is (voltage) x (current). -- In order to get 100 watts out of a 12-volt battery, the battery has to produce 81/3 Amps of current, because (12) x (81/3) = 100. -- The battery holds enough juice so that (current) x (length of time) = 7 Amp-hour. -- If you pull 81/3 Amps from that battery, the math says that it'll be empty in 0.84 hour (50 minutes), because (81/3 Amps) x (0.84 hour) = 7 Amp-hour. -- The truth is that if you discharge a battery that fast (all of its capacity in less than 1 hour), it won't match the math. It'll begin to sag, groan, and gasp in less time than you'd expect. -- 0.84 hour is about 50 minutes. you should not expect 100 watts out of this battery for much more than 35 or 40 minutes.

What size breaker for a 3 phase 460 volt 50 hp motor?

Breakers are sized by the conductors that are connected to them. Conductors are sized by the amperage that the load draws. The electrical code states that a 50 HP 460 volt three phase motor draws 65 amps. The ideal amperage would be taken from the motors nameplate as different motors of the same horsepower will have different amperage's depending on what they are designed to do. The feeders for this motor have to be sized at 125% of the motors full load amperage. 65 x 125% = 81 amps. A #4 copper conductor with and insulation rating of 75 or 90 degrees C is rated at 85 amps. The breaker for this motor is 150 amp or 175 amp fusing or 110 amp time delay fusing.
