Well...

1. A refrigerator should be cool not warm.

2 why would you have leftover bacon? That stuff is delicious

3. I don't have a "warm refrigerator" but bacon stays pretty long in a regular fridge. If I left it out on the counter it would probably still be good for a couple days. People that lived on the prairie would salt their bacon and then leave it out for winter but it was salted to preserve it.

For best results just cook it!

Answer

In unopened package: Up to one week past its expiration date

Opened in a zip-top bag: Use within one week

Cooked and in airtight container: Use within five days

Frozen: Six weeks

Meats are kept better in the freezer. Meats can be kept in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days if raw and 1 to 2 days longer if cooked. Always place cooked meats in an airtight container.

After a time it does, yes - even if it's never been opened. If it's past it's "Use By" date, pitch it. That's the safest way.
