Rabbits typically give birth to babies, called kits, about 31 days after mating.
Baby rabbits are usually born 4 to 5 weeks after the doe becomes pregnant. Rabbits have a short gestation period of around 28 to 31 days.
two weeks
You wean the babies at 6 weeks. If the mother has had a large litter take a few away a day so she'll get use to producing less milk.
Aside from checking to make sure there are no dead babies you should leave the mother to take care of the newborn babies.
Gerbils usually have babies every 5-6 weeks
Depends on the rabbit's breed Normally rabbits are eating by them self at 4 weeks and by the age of 8/9 weeks are ready to leave, how ever french lops dont leave till 10 or even 11 weeks old. Being a breeder myself (cavies & frenchie's) every animal is different some can leave at 8 week and some need 12 or 13 weeks I would only sell a baby if I knew it was ready.
it takes 9 weeks
The gestation period for rabbits is six weeks.
Leave them alone but continue to feed and water rabbits. After 8-10 weeks, take the mother from that cage and put her elsewhere. Leave the babies there till they can get sold or given away. then clean the cages thoroughly.
6 weeks
They breed once about every 5 or 6 weeks. Don't interfere with the babies!
