It's not a matter of how fast you're reading -- it's how well you understand what you read! You need to worry less about being quick and more about comprehension. Be sure you understand the words and what the text is saying before you try to increase your speed.
2nd graders without disabilities should be able to read 90 wpm
110-115 words per minute. Students also need to work on drawing conclusions from text.
I would suggest books like Magic Tree House books or short chapter book that are around 50 - 90 pages.
A second grader should be on 2.0 at the beginning of second grade. The student should be at reading level 2.9 at the end of second grade. Discuss your child's progress with his teacher.
about 120-150 or above
Maybe 55-60
231
In one minute he or she should be able to read 12 or 15 words.
A 6th grader should be reading around 160 per minute by the end of the sixth grade year.
107 WPM
A first grade student isn't tested on the number of words read a minute. They are tested on how many words that they read correctly on a page.

Compound Machines, inclined planes, risistance force.... I don't even know how to spell some of these. Challenge the young children!!
It depends what the eighth grader sees in the sixth grader. If there is sexual attraction, athletic ability, academic talent...Actually the 6th grader shouldnt be dating at all and why would a 8th grader want to do that unless your just putting words into his her mouth they shouldnt even be around each other in the first place
about 1000 to 1200 words
This varies according to the study in question, but appears to cluster around the range of 90-130 words per minute, at least for native English readers.
