1.7 cubic yards of concrete Dondeb...that is an incorrect answer...Lets do this in steps.... 1. 80 X 30 = 240 Surface feet. Divide by .50 because you want it 6 inches deep. 2. 240 divided by .50 = 120 3. 120 is the total square feet of material needed. 4. Divide by 27 as there are 27 cubic feet to a cubic yard....(120 divided by 27) 5. 4.4 cubic yards of concrete are needed, that is if you don't take into account up to 10% for loss or shortage. If this were my project I would order 5 cubic yards.
