to answer this question properly i would need to know what the pattern repeat on the fabric is and what style of heading you have chosen as the ammount will greatly vary according to those things. If you were having basic pencil pleat heading and a plain fabric (using fabric of a standard 54"width) you would need to use 1 and a half widths of fabric in each curtain making a total of 3 widths. Add 10" for hems to you r drop, making 58", multiply that by your number of widths. We work in metres here which you would need 4.5 metres which i think in yards is (rounded up) 5 yards. If you had a patterned fabric you may need more to match the patterns.
The area of the rectangle is 52 x 84 = 4368 square yards.
Remember this: 12 Inches = 1 Foot 3 Feet = 1 Yard 36 Inches = 1 Yard 64 inches ÷ 36 inches/yard = 1 Yard 28 inches 72 inches ÷ 36 inches/yard = 2 Yards 0 inches So you'd need 4 yards of fabric for a curtain 64 in. x 72 in.
There are 110.5 yards of fabric for 102 by 39 inches. 1 yard is equivalent to 36 inches.
You need 3 yards. 84 inches is 7 feet..one yard is 3 feet so order 3 yards for one panel...for 2 panels order 6 yards
102 inches by 108 inches is exactly 8.5 square yards.
There are 36 inches in one yard, so 108/36 = 3 yards, therefore Francine need another 9 yards of fabric.
45
1.75 yards of fabric
That depends on what you want to make. Or do you mean how many yards of fabric are in 12 feet of fabric? If that's what you mean, the answer is 12 feet is equal to 4 yards.
The area of a rectangle 12 inches by 12 yards is 5184 square inches, since 12 inches * 12 yards * 36 inches/yard = 5184 square inches.
One yard of fabric is 36 inches. Bolts come in two sizes: 44 inches, and 54 inches. If you need a piece of fabric that is 29 inches x 53 inches, you'll need 29 inches of fabric, or 7/8 of a yard.
About 11-12 yards
Area of first piece = 5 yards * 60 inches = 300 inch-yards Suppose length of equivalent area of 57" fabric is x yards then x*57 = 300 or x = 300/57 = 5.26 yards (approx).
