From keel to sailing, the Titanic took almost exactly 3 years to construct.

Building the hull took 26 months, from March 31, 1909 to May 31, 1911. Outfitting took another 10 months, so that sea trials were conducted on April 2, 1912, just 8 days before the start of its maiden voyage on April 10, 1912.
Just over 2 years- her keel was laid down on March 31st 1909, and she was launched on the last day of May 1911. It took a further year to fit her out and carry out her sea-trials before she was fully completed.

She sank just a fortnight later.
The first piece of the keel was laid on March 31st, 1909 and she was put to sea on April 10th, 1912.
The first piece of steel was laid on March 31st, 1909, and she was still being painted and completed on sailing day, April 19th, 1912.
