Please clarify the question. At the very least, you should clarify from where you want to "get to planet Earth", and at what speed. If you jump down from one meter altitude, it takes a fraction of a second. In general, for problems involving speed you can use the formula: distance = speed x time
You do not say what will harm the earth. The earth is a dynamic planet, if it did not have the processes which cause earthquakes and volcanoes it would be a dead planet. While earth stays dynamic, constantly active, it is the perfect place for us.
