if one organisms population went down quite a lot, then the organism which eats it will suffer and their population would go down especially if the 1st organism was near the bottom of the food web and this process would repeat so there would be a big population drop, just because one organism dropped some of it population.

Well, if one species of animals die out, then the following species that would have eaten it would die out , too. Why? Because they're not getting enough food for energy. This goes on, and on, and on, and it affects the population of animals.

too many predators and the prey can die out and the predators run out of food and die too, the plants they prey ate go out of control, overpopulation of a species isn't a good thing, and only we humans cause it. it doesn't naturally happen

An example can easily answer this question. Imagine: The population of rabbits goes down. Then the meat eating animals either have to adapt or die. If they adapt to eating plants, than the herbivores of the ecosystem die. This change in eating habits and population could eventually bring down the whole ecosystem.

In ecosystems too much of an animal or people can cause others to become affected. Basically think of the food chain... the sharks in the world are being hunted and that leaves other fish to grow and be more of so it affects the rest of the chain or population. THere you go... hope this helped. :)

when population are change it would affect in a community, because the population can be from a different specie and what the first population have in common the second does not have.

How does the circulating water in a standing water ecosystem affect the ecosystem?

Circulating water in a standing water ecosystem can affect the ecosystem. This is because it can change the PH of the water killing the existing organisms.

How do seasonal variations climate change and succession affect an ecosystem?

Seasonal variations of climate impact the state of an ecosystem. In areas that experience a cold season, some elements of the ecosystem change their residence or even hibernate to survive. Succession can be considered a higher state of development of the ecosystem.

Why does one change in the ecosystem often lead to other changes in the ecosystem?
