Very vague question....... i own a 93 sentra With around 161k miles on it. Keep in mind many car parts fail around 150k miles so ive done my fair share of repairs. i find these cars very easy to work on though and im no mechanic. Someone is trying to sell me a 2001 sentra with 184k miles and when i inspected it i was surprised.... it was nice. Maybe 200k miles at least if your a good owner and look after every aspect of the car. ive heard about cars going as much as 300k.
I've been looking for a 1998 Nissan Sentra GXE Alternator Harness and it seems that they apply fairly universally, meaning the harnesses they sell on this link will most likely apply to your model. The link is: http://www.thepartsbin.com/catalog/?N=4294955288&Nr=OR(AND(make:Nissan,model:Sentra,year:1998),AND(universal:1))&Vi=1684+11370+4294963745&y=1998&mk=Nissan&md=Sentra Those are just "Alternator Harnesses". If you find you need more wires than that, you can get the whole mess of wires it's connected to called the "Sentra HARNESS ASSY-ALTERNATOR" from this link, part 24020: http://www.nissanpartszone.com/components/1998-nissan-sentra_wiring-240-881.html Good luck, don't forget to check your VIN just to be safe on the second link. I just need to find out how to replace ONLY the Alternator Harness on my '98 now :P
Around $200-600 Dollars.
A used Sentra.
Nissan does sell certified pre-owned vehicles. They also offer warranties on their used cars. One good thing about Nissan is that they only sell used cars that are no more than five years old.
