Many different people like many different ingredients in their taco. If a person likes lettuce a lot they will often stuff their taco with 1/2 a cup of shredded lettuce, however for those who like many vegetables on their taco only 1/4 cup of shredded lettuce is needed.

Depending on the size of the taco shell, I usually put 3/4 inch of taco meat in the bottom of the shell to about 1/2 inch from the ends. On average about 1/4 cup of meat per taco. At Taco Bell its 1.5 ounces
