Many individuals have sold the PS4 for more than it costs because it is in short supply. These prices are sometimes hundreds of dollars more that the retail price of the item. Other suppliers will only sell it combined with games and accessories and they are sold at full retail for the bundle. Retailers do this because their profit on the games and accessories is higher than just for the console

We do not know how much the PS4 will cost when it arrives. The cost of it will depend on how powerful the hardware it uses is. I expect it will most likely cost about the same as the PS3 did when it first came out.
