If you are asking about going to school, he attended grammar school until he was about 15. But Shakespeare never stopped studying--he used the history book Holinshed's Chronicles as a source for many of his plays. He read stories which could be used as the basis of plays. He never stopped learning.
Latin, mostly. They were set Latin authors to read and to translate, which gave him access to a lot of material which later shows up in his plays. Plutarch, the source of Julius Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra, would have been one of his schoolbooks.
