Do the male spider monkeys eat the baby spider monkeys?

Spider monkeys are primates, not spiders, and definitely not cannibals. They are herbivorous, but with some species also eating insects. A female spider monkey normally has only one baby, or a maximum of two, about every 2 to 4 years. Adult male monkeys do not contribute much in the way of child care, but neither do they seek to harm the younger ones in their community.

What do baby marmoset monkeys eat?

Monkeys are herbivores animals. As babies, they can drink baby formula which can be mixed with rice cereal and monkey biscuits as they grow older. Monkeys love fruits, leaves, and flower but much like human babies they must start off with milk. You can also give your baby monkey goat milk as a cheaper choice. Be sure to research monkey care sites and other wildlife consultants for a more in-depth care routine to assure a healthy monkey.
