This information is not available but a quick web search suggests that screenwriters could make around 30,000 a year.
They probably have one planned, but don't want to over do the skit. So each time it airs it will be hilarious and much anticipated like the others. But yes they are exceedingly entertaining.
Justin Timberlake said in an interview "it's the best 5000 you can make" so I would assume 5000$ is the standard rate.
Many entertainers are willing to post their material online, while others are not. In some cases, it's the management of the artist who does not want the material posted, while in other cases, it's the network where the performer worked. There is also the possibility that an entertainer has become tired of a certain character that he or she used to perform, and no longer wants that material to be widely available. In the case of Joe Piscopo, he probably has a "greatest hits" video for sale, plus Saturday Night Live/NBC has made a number of programs available for purchase, some of which he is in. Thus, his management may believe it would hurt sales to give away too much of his work for free. The same has occurred with other Saturday Night Live artists like Jon Lovitz: some of his work is available on line, but much of it can only be seen by buying his Greatest Hits video.
It depends on where you live. If you live in a city, you're not going to be able to see much in the night sky because of the light pollution. However, if you live in the country, you can probably see the Milky Way.

What caliber? Most of them are junk. Considered a Saturday night special
Evidently it was something that wasn't revealed, or something that no one asked before, but Justin Timberlake let it slip that hosting was the easiest $5,000 he ever made.
Extremely UGLY

Live, Iron Maiden are very experimental and will improvise passages in existing tracks. Many bands do this; it would get very boring doing the same tracks the same way night after night, and guitar solos especially are notoriously fluid things.
Will Ferrell joined the Saturday Night Live producer line up in late 2003 and has remained there ever since. This is a much better position than his attempts at stand up comedy which were a bust.
