It really depends on exactly where you work as a paramedic. I know that in the small Newfoundland town I live in Paramedics make 12$ a hour. But in bigger places such as Ontario paramedics may make $70,000+ per year. But I'm sure a paramedic is a very rewarding, exciting career. If I was more courageous and interested in this exciting field I would go for it. Afterall you can make good money with it, and it is not all about money.
