This depends on what the project/shoot is for. When taking pictures of models for their portfolio, most photographers charge $100 or more, which usually includes retouching photos and printing images if needed. Each photographer charges his/her own rates, which may be a flat rate or hourly.

Not many amateur models charge for photoshoots...if they have little to no experience it is important for them to do free "test" shoots with photographers to at least build a portfolio. If you have done a handful of shoots already, however, then you can charge but be mindful that most clients will not pay an amateur model as much as one with proven experience and a good track record of work.

Charging for photoshoots will depend on what the shoot is for, how long it is, outfits involved, etc. If anything, amateur models can charge an hourly rate of anywhere between $25-50.

That depends on many factors such as how long the shoot is going to be, if you have to travel far, the nature of the shoot, what you have to supply vs. what is going to be provided. Additionally, the amount of experience you have and the strength of your modeling portfolio also plays a role.

Most models that freelance charge anywhere from $50-$100 an hour, while others charge a flat rate between $200-$500 for shoots that last more than 4 hours.

Lingerie modeling pays higher in general so for an amateur model it all depends on how confident they are in their abilities, the strength of the photos in their portfolio, etc.

A starting rate of $50/hour for newbies is acceptable but completely up to the model and client to negotiate. Nude modeling rates should be higher and usually start at $100/hour.

Well it depends who the model is, who the photographer is and how long the photoshoot was but I'd say about one mill.

Why is the role of journalists and photographers so important during wartime?

During wartime civilians have no way of knowing what is going on without someone telling them. We aren't actually there seeing the war, which is why journalists and photographers go overseas. Journalists do this to inform and keep us updated with what is going on, photographers go to offer proof to what the journalists write, because without pictures all we have is the journalist's account. Also some free lance photographers do it to simply make money and to have an account of the war as it progresses.
