Puppies once weaned drink variable amounts of water, you should always have plenty of freash drinking water available for a puppy. If the puppy is in a crate there should be no food or water in the crate, this makes for poor crate training. Make sure the puppy is given ample water prior to entering and once out of the crate (allowing for a bathroom break of course). alot.
Puppies should be allowed to drink Water-only whenever they want to, a fresh waterbowl should always be of acsess. Dont Give your puppy MILK! At this age, it can upset a puppies' stomach because it has to higher fat content and you will end up with a runny tummy pup- hope this helps
Cows milk is a big no no, however Lactose free milk is alright (preferable, one advertised for dogs and cats), their are some make especially for (nursing) dogs, cats, and their babies.
All puppies are different just keep fresh water down all the time.
