it determines on the company you work for, if they think that a receptionist is worth nothing 9 to 10 dollars is the min. from my experience.... if they are smart and realize you are the front line of their business. they will value you with a higher pay........ 12 -14 it also depends on your geographical area. most companies only pay top dollar for the big wigs....... greed is everywhere, and take it from a chick who has answered so many phones that she answers her home phone with good evening this is ...... how may i help you they don't care about the phone answerer.... they only care about the money they get..... good luck The median expected salary for a typical Receptionist in the United States is $26,781.
