The problem here is that, although the guy apparently doesn't have the same feelings for you and telling him that you like him didn't change his feelings, that you are still able to say "he makes me so happy". Does he really make you happy? Or, could it just be the wishful fantasy of you and him together that makes you happy and gives your eyes that dreamy look of being in love?
