That's like asking how much does a cup of flour weigh? It partly depends on how tightly packed it is. That being said:
Not packed or settled at all: 3.1 oz.
Lightly packed (by tapping the cup on the counter): 3.5 oz.
Firmly packed: 3.9 oz.
1 cup of sweetened coconut weighs 60 grams. It is important to ensure that you have the right measurements for ingredients when cooking.
1/4 cup
A coconut seed weighs about 5 pounds.
2o kgs
1 pound or any thing stupid
This will greatly affect the texture and volume of the cake. Begin with a few drops and taste the mixture.
I didnt know coconut came in a box, just a bag, and its usually any size from an oz to a pound.
The same as it did before you shredded it apx 3#
the largest seed is that of the coc-de-mer coconut tree, which weighed 40 pounds love you!!
Grated coconut.
Coconut meat is the white part of the coconut inside the coconut. For most people this is the only way they know coconut, the coconut meat. The actual fruit is a hard shelled nut with "milk" inside the center of the nut. The "meat" is the white sweet edges of the inside of the shell.
Yeah, of course. It might not be as sweet, though so I suggest adding like a tablespoon of sugar, depending on how much coconut flakes your using. Yes! Its wonderful in fact. It adds a nice flavour to the cake and does not make it that much sweeter. What I also do is warm up half a cup of milk on the stove, add teaspoon of sugar and some sweetened grated coconut all together in one. After the cake is done I poke holes in the cake with a fork, then gradually pour the milk mixture sparingly on the cake with a teaspoon, and let the cake cool for the night. It gives it another level of moisture. You should try it!
