I dont know for sure but Nintendo sold more then 2.5 million copies in 1998 alone so im guessing somewhere around the billions. Maybe at least 2 billion in profits. It became one of Nintendo's most popular games of the Fifth Generation (1994-2002)

You probably won't be able to get much for it, since it's available for Gamecube on at least two different disk collections, and it can be downloaded for the Wii. Wouldn't imagine there's much of a market for the 64 cartridge.

Edit: However, if you have a orignal cartridge, (The golden version marked as 'Collecters Edition'), it can range, in price, anywhere from two hundred to five hundred dollars. (At least, from my encounters with the game.) A original grey copy, (Wherein Ganon and Ganondorf's blood is green, and the islamic chants are in the fire temple remain,) Can go anywhere from fifty to a hundred and fifty dollars. Finally, you can get five to ten dollars for the original copy. Do your research on your game, watch and listen closely. If you have the green blood and chanting in your copy, either cash it in, or hold it close and keep in mind that you have an barely edited version of one of the self-proclaimed "Best game(s) in the world."
