- it all depends on what company the person is working for. Supervisors range anywhere from $65,000 and up. I know a few people who are supervisors for marketing jobs and make about 90,000. I'd say that is pretty comfortable living wages.
- I disagree. As a store manager for a very successful corporation, my salary is much lower than 65,000.
- More so in the range of 25-30 thousand yearly.
- But as the last post said, it really depends on what type of retail management you are considering.

∙ 13y agoI don't think anyone can give you a hard and fast rule for what a Retail Assistant Manager should be making. It all depends on the company that you're working for, how many people you're supervising, your responsibilities, etc. The company I'm working for now, although not in management, pays their assistants in excess of $50,000 a year.
I've worked as an Assistant Manager in retail before, and in the jobs I've had I've been paid from as low as Minimum Wage to the mid 30s.
