it all depends on the size of bag and brand. I feed my medium sized dog adult Science Diet (wich most vets reccomend). Pets Mart has it the cheapest at about $35.00 for a large bag. If you go to science diet's website, sometimes you can get coupons there.

Canned dog food costs about $1.25 a pound on the low end to over five dollars for the same amount on the high end. While it is tempting to buy the low-cost food, these products are made with cheap ingredients like corn and soy that are often not digested well by dogs and have little nutrition. The more expensive kibbles can be a better choice in terms of quality, but be sure to check the label to see what you are actually getting.
