Not enough to pay for a new battery unfortunately. I got 9 bucks from Walmart for my old battery. So a junkyard won't be much more
A defective battery is worth about $5 to a recycler.
The scrapyard.
The price of a car battery depends on the type of car. The most expensive car battery is about 230 dollars. and the least expensive is about 94 dollars.
The car was dismantled at the scrapyard.
Approximately $500 for older American and $400 for late model junkers.
In a scrapyard when the workers need to pick up a car there is a crane with a magnet on it. So when they see a car they turn the electric magnet on so it picks up the car and they turn off the electric magnet to drop the car.
My car is worth around $18,000.
dont use your car as much
Voltage is the same but amp hour capacity of the car battery is much higher.
There are a few choices to find a buyer for your junk car. If you have a way to haul it yourself then you can take it to a scrapyard and actually make a few extra bucks from the scrapyard. They will remove any parts that could be reused or salvaged and then crush the car. You can also usually find ads in the newspaper for companies who will pick your car up for free, and then they will take the car to the scrapyard. If you do not have a newspaper hand, you can view the classified section of your newspaper online. If the car is still running, try ebaymotors.com or autotrader.com. If there are still good parts, contact a junkyard in your area.
