It depends on who is selling them and what they are selling them
for. Also, many factors determine the price of a live chicken. A
day old meat chick can sell for as little as 20 cents U.S. each to
as much as $5.00 each. Certain breeds sell for higher prices and
hens usually sell for more than roosters. If a breeder has raised
the chick for longer than a few days then the price goes up to
cover the cost of raising the bird.
If you mean a chicken and I hope you do - here's my answer. The price depends. if you buy them at chicks, they can cost anywhere from $1.50 to $6. If you buy them once they're all grown up, they will be more expensive, anywhere from $10 to $25.
