The price of a havanese dog depends on a few variables such as age and shots and so on, let me give you the breakdown I got from my breeders when I bought my havanese dogs ( note all prices are in Canadian).

Neutering fee: around $400 dollars and is a standard fee charged to have your pet neutered

Puppy's: the younger the dog is the higher the selling price. This is because young dogs are easy to train ( it's easier to teach a young dog new tricks than an old dog new tricks because their brains are still developing) and also because the puppy's just look so adorable. Puppy's that are between 1 month to around 4 months cost around 1000-1500 dollars. It's also important to remember that if you buy a puppy chances are they didnt get their shots because they were too young to so you should probably keep that cost into consideration.

6 Months Plus: Now the dog's are a bit bigger, harder to train but should have their shots taken care of. Because most people won't buy these dogs ( over puppies that is) their selling price is lowered and can be anywhere from 700-900 dollars.

Colours: If a dog has special markings, or is from a prized male the sellers would usually add on another 200-300 dollars.

So on average without shots/neutering a havanese dog can cost anywhere from 700-1500.
