There is really no way to know what a knife maker makes unless they tell you. However; from what I've concluded, I'd say a professional knifemaker would be making anywhere from $9-15/hr. There really is not that much money in it; although there are full time makers out there, they still do it for the joy of it.
As for me; if I was to sell my knives I would be making around..23-25 cents a hr at max.
