That question is hard to answer. It is based on region as well as expierience. In the Midwest a rookie lawn tech can make anywhere from $8 - $10 an hour. Someone with more time in the lawn game can make anywhere from $10 - $15 an hour.

$200,000 is what a Lawn Cutting Vendor may make since he owns the business. The basic lawn care worker who cuts the lawn is usually less than $10.00 an hour. Here in the State of WA the minimum wage is just a bit over $9.00 an hour so they make that here. Many other parts of the country they make $7.00 or less.

I made around 20,000 last year in the mid west. Including lay off time in the winter. I work for Scott's and we usually worked 60 hours a week. We get a weekly salery of around 460 a week and anything over 40 hours we get payed 3-4 dollars an hour. You would think we would get payed time and a half but no. They can get away with it by some loop hole in which they pay us a small amount of commission based on how much revenue we bring in for the company which is never more than 150 per week. The united states is starting to pay there workers like the Chinese. Thanks cooperate America!
