Take a snake and hold it in your hands. The fact that you can hold it in your hands proves the snake is much smaller than you. Most common, non-tropical snakes (rattlesnakes, vipers, garden snakes, and just about any snake that lives in the US) are quite small, with their heads being able to fit in the palm of the average adult human twice, maybe thrice, over. The only snakes that are larger than the average adult human are boas, pythons, and anacondas, with their heads being as big as the adult thigh, or maybe upper arm.

With that in mind, most common snakes have brains that are dwarved by the size of the human brain.

It depends on the snake, but no snake has a brain more than a few ounces in weight. The largest snake, the anaconda, can weigh 200 pounds, but with a brain weight less than that of a housecat.
