It really depends on where you buy it from. from a good breeder, they cost about 600-1000. from a previous owner, it depends on how old there adults are less and puppies are more. A puppy with a good pedigree that meets all the standards for the breed will sell upwards of 1500 with female pups being a few hundred dollars more than the males. Some puppies are as high as 2800.

When I looked online, there was a big range of prices to buy a westie; the lowest being about $400 and the highest about $1,000. The yearly price depends on how many times your dog gets groomed and goes to the doctor, the price depends on stuff like that.

You really shouldn't buy a newborn puppy. Puppies need to stay with their mothers for some weeks after birth to get important nutrition, antibodies and social training from their mothers.

Anybody offering to sell you a new born puppy is irresponsible and not acting in the best interest of the animal. I would not buy a dog from such a person due to concerns about what else they might have done wrong in the breeding of the mother.
