Usually you are paid on a commission per case basis. Develop more accounts, get more commissions! $20/case might be a good idea for starting.
hahahaha! yeah, right! wine reps typically make 4-7% commission on sales. on a case of wine that retails for $9.99 a bottle (or 70 bucks wholesale) that's about $2-3.00 income. So, if we sell $1,000.00 we only make about $50.00. Sometimes, however, there may be an incentive from a winery. In this case you might get $5-10 for every case you sell (but usually have to sell over a certain amount to get that). Sounds fun, huh?!
