It depends on rank, time in service, and a number of other factors.

However, pilots are always officers, and a brand-new, freshly-minted 2nd Lieutenant in the USAF makes (as of November 2013) just under $34,000 per year in base pay. They also receive other benefits (housing allowances, flight pay, hazard pay, etc.) making it somewhat tricky to compare that to a civilian salary... and it just goes up as rank and time-in-service increase. A captain with 3 years service would be making about $55k base pay.
