It depends on the intake that you get. There are short ram air and cold air intakes. Cold air intakes are preferred amongst rsx enthusiasts because of the cold air that is being sucked into the motor. On average, about 3-14 HP can be obtained from an intake. The quality and type of intake is what makes the difference between a lot and a little HP.
It is plugged into the air intake just next to the intake manifold. Right next to the smallest hose connecting to the air intake.

as far as i know you cannot put both on a rsx, but if you go with a turbo i know that the stock k20 will only handle 10lbs of boost, and you will need a different intake, header, and a new fuel management system, the stock ecu will not be able to support the turbo

Base model has 160 hp and type s rsx has 200 hp.
