Not particularly,, the companies force most children to work so they don't have to pay them as much
Children should not be forced into child labour. There are very specific laws regarding this. The reason for this is because they are not mature and/or developed and should not work as much as people who are 18+.

Child labour was improving but it was still bad. Children still had to work for up to 7 hours and the conditions in the factories were hot, stuffy and cramped. Many accident still happened and punishments on children were still used. For more info go to.....www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk (its realy good)
Because of problems with child labor, laws were made to protect children. So children that are 12 can get paper routes, or babysit but not much else.
Much has been said about the social implications of China's one child policy. In essence, the policy is depriving children of experiencing the type of childhood that their parents have experienced being raised in a family with siblings. Children learn to deal with social problems when they are raised around other children.

In most cases, child labour happens because the parents of the children cannot find jobs, therefore forcing their children to work instead. Children are more easily employed because they are paid less than adults, they are easy to exploit, and they don't complain as much.
