How much did Yellowstone National Park cost to enter in 1872?

Yellowstone National Park was the first national park in the U.S. On December 18, 1871, the bill to dedicate the area as a national park was presented to Congress. "The bill now before Congress has for its objective the withdrawal from settlement, occupancy, or sale, under the laws of the United States a tract of land fifty-five by sixty-five miles, about the sources of the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers, and dedicates and sets apart as a great national park or pleasure-ground for the benefit and enjoyment of the people." Since it was the first and designed for the enjoyment of the people and people went at their own risk, I would safely assume that the admissions fee was free. However, there is no documentation available to the public that specifies. Congress, in its outline of the reason to establish this park, did not once state that it would be a fund raiser. Several other national parks now do not charge entrance fees. "The 244 other parks do not charge entrance fees." I think it is safe to say that Yellowstone National Park did not cost anything to enter in 1872.
